A Review on anime "Tsuki ga Kirei"(As the Moon, So Beautiful) A short yet a Masterpiece Must-watch Romance Anime Series!

Tsuki ga Kirei is a beautifully animated romance anime. It originally aired from April 6 to June  29,2017. This anime series is produced by Feel studio. It is one of the excellent work by Feel studio. It has an outstanding rating of 4.85/5 on Crunchyroll and 7.7/10 on IMDb. About 97% of Google users like this anime.

Tsuki ga Kirei(月がきれい) means As the Moon, So Beautiful. The title of this anime has deep meaning, it is the way of confessing someone loved one under the moonlight in Japanese. This anime is focused on showing the love angle between two of the main character Kotarō Azumi and Akane Mizuno.

 Both become third-year students at junior high school and are classmates for the first time. They are put in charge of the equipment for a sports festival and slowly grow closer. These two, along with fellow students Chinatsu Nishio and Takumi Hira, relate to their peers through mutual understandings and feelings. The main character Kotarō Azumi aims to become a professional writer and he admires Osamu Dazai on the other hand, Akane Mizuno belongs to the track and field club and loves running. Both secretly starts dating together. 

The animation is beautifully done by Feel studio. There are some great frames throughout the series.

Although this series has a simple story the way of presenting it really a masterpiece. There is a heartwarming scene in every episode. It shows the struggle to maintain their relationship. The side characters also have a perfect role. The beautiful music gives us a pleasant vibe during touching moments. The screenplay is smooth which attracts you in every frame. Apart from every great element it also attractively presented Japanese culture. Kotarō Azumi is a member of the Hayashi( a group of performers who provide musical accompaniment for Japanese) who perform a cultural dance which is delightful to watch.

LINE( a freeware app for instant communication) is highlighted throughout the series. Both main characters came closer via the LINE app.

The attractive part of this anime is that the Kotarō Azumi admires Osamu Dazai(A Japanese author).

He shares the thought of Dazai in every heart touching moment which makes the situation more relatable and of course, teaches us a lesson. It has expressed quotes of Dazai beautifully. One of my favorites is Dazai once said"To decide I am hopeless before I even begin is nothing but laziness." This quote really inspired me a lot. It is the short pleasing anime that everyone must watch it once in a lifetime.
