Words bubble up like soda pop definitely watch this before its too late.

It depicts the teenage love between The Main Character's Yui and Yuki ie Cherry and Smile as they fall in love, while still being really good friends.

"Words bubble up like soda pop" is a teen romance set to pop music genre anime that was scripted by Dai Sato  (You may know him from Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex). the art in Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop is all bright pop-art colors with minimal shading and cartoonishly expressive designs that reminds me of "great pretender". Produced primarily at Signal.MD and Sublimation with outsourcing work done by dozens of other studios, the animation is fun to watch throughout, It's simple yet entertainingly well scripted. It depicts the teenage love between The Main Character's Yui and Yuki ie Cherry and Smile.
The two main characters slowly fall in love, while still being really good friends in the process. the movie highlights their insecurities and how they help each other get past them. the way the characters interact is just soo wholesome and really reflects that summer mood. The backstory that gradually emerges as Cherry and Smile solve the mystery behind this record is an emotional one that works as its own subplot. The pace is slower for this section of the story compared to the manic comedy in the early parts, and viewers will definitely figure certain things out well before the characters do, but seeing the characters figure out these solutions is still satisfying to watch. The Big theme of poem and music circles back around, and the mc’s last haiku being a metaphor for their relationship adds a sweet blend in the mix.  The writing, art style, and simple yet well-done animation come together to capture a cute summer romance about two people who help each other overcome their insecurities while falling in love, brief summer of memories they'll never forget. It is light and refreshing anime to binge on, I would definitely recommend it to anime lovers and movie buffs alike.

SYPNOSIS:
The visual features the tagline, "I met you in my 17th summer ..." The "boy-meets-girl" story depicts how words and music bridge the gap between Cherry, a boy who is terrible at communicating with other people, and Smile, a girl who hides behind a mask. They meet in a mundane suburban shopping mall in a provincial city. Cherry always wears headphones and puts the feelings he cannot utter into his hobby, Japanese haiku poems. Smile always wears a mask to conceal her large front teeth, for which she has dental braces. As a popular video star, she streams a video about seeking "cuteness." (Source: ANN)
